Hello,
Sonarlearning is such an amazing platform. I am a professional game developer working in a small studio in India. I am primarily an Unity developer with about a year’s experience in the platform. However I am having to build a game in Cocos2d-x, and I must say, I can even try to because of you guys. Your tutorials have and continue to be of immense help to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for that.
However, there have countless instances, when I can play and deploy a game on the iOS, but for android studio, the build fails. Each time, I add new code or graphics assets this happens. These are so many that a q-a for each might be exhaustive for both me and you.
So, I would really appreciate it if you create a tutorial series completely for android and Windows(if possible, else even Mac will be fine) from the ground up that address any and all quirky behaviour that one might encounter while building apps for android platform with cocos2d-x.

The problem with Android is less of a tutorial issue and more of a platform issue. I face the problems as well, sometimes it work and sometimes it doesn’t.

Ok, thank you for the reply.
However I was wondering if you could help me with guidelines as what I must keep in mind while building for android. Note that the game is working fine in iOS. Where I must change, and what I must change for the android app to build, and what ndk version I must use for most stability etc.

Make sure cpp files are added to the Android.mk file, build and test and a regular basis.

The challenge with Android is more of a platform-related issue than a tutorial problem. I encounter similar issues – at times it works as expected, while other times it doesn't. It's a matter of inconsistency on the platform itself.
