iOS run/debug issue

    Problem Description

Hello, i’m testing the default app, “the hello world screen”, on various platforms using Cocos2d-JS. Now i can run and debug it on Windows, Chrome and Android but i’m having trouble with iOS. When i try the Remote Debugging using the Prebuilt IPA, the app is always the deafult one. If i try to change the string “Hello world” with something else i have no effective changes. Debug is not working either.

I’m using the Cocos Code IDE and when i try to Build the project i get this error: ”Cannot start compiler: the SDK is not specified for module "testgame".Specify the SDK at Project Structure dialog” but when i go in the modules screen there is no way to set a proper SDK cause the windows don’t show anything.

I had watch some videos of you cause i know this is probably a newbie issue… but i didn’t find anything useful.

I hope you can help me so thank you and sorry for my bad english!

    Hello

What version of the Cocos Code IDE are you using?

I’m currently using Cocos Code IDE 2.0.0 but I just noticed that is actually a Beta version… Should i try to change it to a previous version?

We honestly would recommend using Xcode but try a previous version if you want to really use Cocos Code IDE
