How is it if you have less text?

it will worl with less texts. i have tried with 120 lines of texts, and it worked. but when  increase to around 170 lines of texts, it doesnot work.

At which point does it break, try 121, 122, 123 etc

i have tested with multiple devices in different platforms. it worked for samsung galaxy s7 edge and sony xperia z5 properly. text is not displayed in device sony xperia z1. For ios device, i have tested in iphone 6 and iphone 6s+, text is not displayed in both the devices. i have tested by using 121 lines of texts. i have checked all the codes, and there is no any restriction for strring length.

z1 doesn’t display at all?

Yes. Z1 doesnot display any long text. Other short text are displayed.

Can you show me screenshots of all the devices with different text lengths.

After adding long texts no text will be displayed, only background image is displayed in the screen. now i have found found following error in console when there is long text..

i have tried solutions available from stackoverflow and cocos forum. nothing worked for me.

Does this error appear with all text lengths?

No. This error occurs only with the long text.

It can’t store that much data, you will need to split larger pieces of text over multiple variables.

In above code, all the texts are logged properly in console, but the text are not displayed in iphone5, iphone 6 and iphone 6s+ and sony xperia z1 and displayed in smsung galaxy s7 edge and xperia z5.

When i replaced fourth line of the above code by below code

Texts are displayed in all the devices, but only displayed to 113 lines of text in every devices and the the error i have mentioned in above (glError) are also not displayed in console.

What is the end result you are trying to achieve, maybe we can take a different route.

End Result we want is to scroll (display) all the text in screen.

Have you tried storing the text in multiple files?

i have tried by changing plist format. In previous plist file, i have stored data in string format and fetched all the textg data. Now i have stored the data in array (as shown in below snapshot), so the text data are accessed in an array and placed the array data one by one in sequence.

All the texts are now displayed, but next text is displayed once the previous text is completely completed. (ie the texts moves up from bottom and disaapears from the top) Texts are not displayed serially on screen. I think we need to run second task (action) 1-2 second before completing first task (action). Is it possible?

You can schedule actions, take a look at scheduling
