I am trying to install a PS2 emulator using this youtube tutorial by Sonar Systems https://youtu.be/alivMtCd9_U 

in 6:37 (video time) the person selects SSSE3, but I do not have that option in my pcsx2.  There's only AVX2, SSE2, and SSE4. And I have attempted to use the AVX2, SSE2, and SSE4 options to check if it will still work. But it says “GS Plugin failed to open. Your computer may have insufficient resources, or incompatible hardware/drivers.”

My OS is Sierra 10.12.6

the PCSX2 version that I was able to download using the link in the video is version 1.6.0

How can I get the PCSX2 to work? please please send help
